Louise & Skip Pattison

North End Charters is owned and operated by Skip and Louise Pattison. They are life long residents of Ketchikan Alaska. The husband and wife team work together on the water creating the ultimate fishing experience. They have run a family oriented charter fishing business for the past 30 years. Skip and his father were some of the first charter skippers in Ketchikan.

Your captain Skip (Bill) Pattison was born in Seward, Alaska and grew up in Ketchikan Alaska. He started fishing at a young age and has 40 years experience fishing in S.E. Alaska waters. He's going on 30 years as a USCG licensed charter captain. Catching the elusive king salmon is top priority in Skips book! With over a dozen 50-pound kings under his belt and many in the 40-pound range he is one of Ketchikan's finest skippers of all. Spending almost every day on the water each summer from May thru September he has a remarkable annual catch record and knowledge from experience of where the best fishing will be found.

Skip's wife Louise was born and raised in Ketchikan. She grew up on the water commercial and sport fishing with her parents and family and has continued with her husband and girls. She has been Skip's deckhand for the past 10 years. You'll find Louise anywhere from checking the fishing gear, netting fish, serving snacks, answering any questions you might have or you may talk to her thru e-mail or on the phone making your reservations.

Skip and Louise met in high school and have been married 30 years. They have three daughters, Misty, Stephanie and Katrina Lynn. Over the years they have all been a part of the business and you'll find them on the fishing grounds whenever they get a chance. When Skip and Louise have a day off or even after a charter you'll find them out on the fishing grounds. They still love the excitement of reeling them in, but it brings them more joy to see their client’s excitement of reeling in their own fish.
