Charter Rates

The Katrina Lynn is named after our youngest daughter. The boat is a 28-foot Bayliner Trophy with a 10-foot beam. It has a v-berth down below and a built in head. The cabin is enclosed with a heater and table that seats four people. We have all the updated communication and navigation equipment plus first aid kit and all the safety equipment required. She packs 144 gallons of fuel and is powered by a Volvo Penta 5.7 fueled injected engine with dual prop out drive.

We have a 9.9 auxiliary motor for trolling for salmon and emergencies. She is fully equipped for fishing with downriggers, Furuno fish finder, Penn reels, salmon and halibut poles plus all the tackle needed for salmon and halibut fishing. We have a three star rating on safety equipment. We’re also enrolled in a random drug-testing program.

A 2.5% borough tax will be added to these amounts. Rates subjected to change without notice. A fuel surcharge may be added depending on the fuel prices.

A USCG safety certified vessel with fish finder, VHF Marine Radio and GPS
A comfortable boat with a heated cabin, large fishing deck, and all the fishing gear needed
Bottled water, assorted soft drinks, coffee, and raingear

Fishing license and king stamp (you will need during king season to keep your king)
Lunch for the all day trips (not included)
Fish processing, but it is available

*Attention Cruise Ship Passengers

You need to make reservations prior to arriving in Ketchikan. A taxi service will pick you up at the cruise ship dock and drop you off at Knudson Cove Marina. You need to use your credit card to have your fish processed but we can only accept cash for fishing licenses. If you are not in to fishing we also offer sightseeing cruises to take in some of our beautiful scenery and a chance a viewing some of our wildlife up close.

Ketchikan Fish Availability Chart

You can have your fish processed by a local company and have them shipped to you or take it with you when you leave. There is also a vacuum pack machine and walk in freezer for rent at the marina if you want to process your own fish then box them up and take them with you.

Ketchikan is the salmon capital and is located 90 minute air flight from Seattle Washington on Alaska Airlines.

A camera is a must to capture the beauty and wildlife that Ketchikan has to offer. The scenery is breathtaking and you never know from day to day what kind of wildlife you may see. The eagles are abundant and you will see them everywhere. The humpback whales and orca's are awesome to see so be prepared just in case to capture the moment.

We have a four-person minimum. Reservations made prior to June 1st a 30% deposit is required. Deposits must be paid within 10 days of making your reservation. For reservations made on or after June 1st a 50% deposit is required. The deposit must be paid in full before a reservation will be held. Cancellations made less than 30 days in advance will result in forfeiture of your deposit. North End Charters is not responsible for loss of fishing time due to flight delays, poor traveling weather, or any other factors that are out of our control. We recommend that you consider purchasing travel insurance. There are many travel insurance companies on the Web.
